"That sounds like the perfect day," Derek answered, following him to the bathroom. He turn on the water, letting it heat up a bit before they stepped in together, rinsing off a little of their previous activities before Derek grabbed the shampoo.
It was like a song that they both knew all the words too. They used to shower together every morning. Derek would grab the shampoo and Sebastian grabbed the body wash. Sebastian lathered them both up, hands running over sore muscles, skin that longed for the others touch for finally being touched, while Derek worked his fingers through Sebastian’s hair. Sebastian stole a kiss whenever he could, smiling against Derek’s lips. Everything felt lighter. Everything was going to be alright in the long run. He pulled Derek under the spray and kissed him slowly as the water rinsed the soap away.
